eBay forgot why they suspended us?

So about 9 months ago our eBay suspended our account...permanently...Then I discovered this site, which helped but losing an account with 5000 feedback hugely hurt sales. Starting with a new account sales are almost nonexistent. We sell refurbished and used printers with price tags of $100 to $2000 and people are not going to spend that sort of money on an account with 0-5, 10, 15 feedback.

I decided to try and give it another shot with eBay to try and get our account opened back up. I went to log in and could no longer access the account, so i called eBay to see what i could do and the gentleman on the phone said we were suspended because of nonpayment (this is not why we were permanently suspended) so he opened the account back up for login only told me to pay it and guided me to a place to submit a request for reinstatement. He told me they had no record of any other issues other than this non-payment.

My question, this sounds too good to be true, has this happened to anyone? If so what should i say in my request to reinstate? If i got it back it would make all the difference in my business.

Never heard of such a situation.
Sounds to me like a lower level rep who doesnt have access to more sensitive info.
BUT - all that being said couldn't hurt trying to get it reinstated. Worse case scenario youre in the same position you were before.

I had the same issue but I managed to have mine all unsuspended (2 accounts linked to each other) I argued it based on valid points - no one in eBay would even entertain the call once they knew that was what it was about - I think even their staff is so used to them never being overturned - but I managed to force someone to give me their time and they said they would contact the team directly.
She came back to me and said I was right and they would reinstate it within 24 hours, which they did.

The question is what reason did they site when suspending you orignaly?
