CAn ebay verify if a drivers license is valid
 

Ebay is asking me for a copy of my Drivers License. I am using a stealth account. I have a license to give them, but I am wondering if they can verify if it is a valid id or not. Does anybody have any info on this?

My ebay account got restricted but they did not give me a straight answer as to why. They say it can be different reasons to why such as changes in my selling activity, or changes to my account info. They would not not tell me an exact reason. They are asking me for proof of identity which could be a drivers license or any government issued ID. A utility bill or credit card statement and receipts or invoices for items I am selling.

The main thing I am worried about is can they verify the license since it is a stealth account.
