I have $430,000 frozen in payal - how can i get it out now?
 

Hey first post here. My money is frozen in paypal (for 2 months now), I need help getting it out ASAP.

It's across multiple:
Paypal 1: $370k CAD
Paypal 2:: $80k CAD

I also have $10,000 frozen in elavon (processor) and a little bit more in some other ones.

It's been frozen for about 2 months now, and is releasing sept 8th.

Does anyone know how to get it out?

they limited my account but gave me 6 weeks to process before i submit docs. I knew it would be frozen, so i processed for that time frame, then in 6 weeks it was premanantly limited.

Anyone know if i hire a lawyer they can get it out?

That would just cost you a lot of wasted time and money.

Your option is to wait the stated amount of time and then withdraw.

Just so you know, I do not leave any money in paypal anymore. Auto sweeps every night on big accounts and we withdraw every cent every time we log into small paypal accounts.

Just had a panic attack reading the balance paypal froze.

What category were you selling in to accumulate that sort of revenue ? Was it from sales on ebay ? And was the account stealth or legit ?

You will definitely have to wait 180 days, lawyers can't help you. They may release half of the balance up front if they feel there are no risks of chargebacks etc but it's rare.

Did you not have this account verified at all with documentation prior to being limited ? how is it even possible to receive that much without any ID being submitted.

If you are CP Lifestyle Real Estate, then I understand how you have so much in there. Still there's nothing you can do other than wait it out.

I've learned my lesson. I never leave any amount higher than $500.00 in my paypal accounts.
You have no option but to wait. Hopefully you can get all those funds out. Best of luck!

Dam that’s a lot of money to leave on PayPal pocket, as other members says mostly you have to wait 180 days to withdraw your money

I did reduce the time to 90days once, but I don't know if it will work for you.

An Australian precious metal dealer who sold on Ebay once have 80k limited in his paypal account,he hired a lawyer to have the fund released after 4 months.
He can no longer use Paypal,which means he can no longer sell on EBay ,now there is Ayden,maybe he can get back to selling on Ebay.
where did your 400k come from?

if the payments are real estate related,there may not be any seller protection from Paypal.
Why would anyone accept paypal for transactions not covered by seller protection?
real estate,financial products,digital goods,room/house rental,services like haircut,catering,massage etc
I am afraid the hold could be more than 180 days.

Many sellers who got scammed accepting Paypal come to forums to cry they have been scammed,but they never review Paypal seller protection-
a caterer catered a big event accepting paypal, plumber ,electrician,barber,how do they prove delivery?
One guy sold a tv set ,local pickup cash only,he delivered the TV set and the buyer said I dont have enough cash,would you take Paypal.
He said yes,when he gets home,he received an email of item not received from the buyer!
Some will take pictures of two shaking hands,or ringing door bell,what good does it do?
I am waiting to see an open heart surgeon operating on a patient who pays with Paypal holding his heart in his hands!

No one should use Paypal to accept real estate,financial ,digital ,service,customs orders .

I always figure if someone really wants to do business with you and you insist on wiretransfer,cashier check,money order,postal order,they will find a way to comply.
what does it really take to get a money order from the supermarket or postal order from the post office?
or even an intl money order from bank or western union?
or wiretransfer,you can offer to pick up the fees.
If they dont have cash,then use the line of credit with their credit card.

This is total BS.
why would anyone use Papal to send that kind of money,why would anyone use Paypal to accept that kind of money.

some folks want to keep their balance in their paypal account,THINK !!!!!!

Most Paypal users assume their account is invincible as long as they stay on top of customer service, until something like this happens.

paypal earns most of their money in that way. They have few billions frozen at any time.

If you can wait for 180 Days you will be all good!

i had about 4 PayPal accounts limited and i just had to wait the time frame and then got my money!

Such stories usually teach you two things:
1.Turn the autosweep feature on (if your business don't need that cash every day).
2.Stop putting all of the eggs in one basket and make some stealth accounts.

Did both after I had to wait 180 days to get my money back, was also six digits figures, hopefully you'll sort it out.

Update, got that big portion of the money out

But still have another 500k frozen from some additional PayPal accounts & stripe.

Just waiting to get paid.

For those wondering what I sell, & why theres so much.

I do direct response marketing - I sell courses, info products, and e-commerce.

We’re putting in 2k-13k per day in ads and generating 2-3x back.

& the reason why so much accumulated in PayPal is because they gave us 6 weeks to submit documents, but we could still process in the mean time.

We waiting until the last day to submit docs because we want to be able to accept PayPal payments even if it meant all the money being frozen - as a lot of sales come through PayPal and a lot of people don’t want to pay with credit card & I’f were not accepting PayPal, hurts our sales a lot.

Get a good 'full-stack' merchant account that accepts your business and don't offer PayPal anymore. You'd take in half your current earnings, but you'd sleep better, and your funds will not be held without your consent.

Hence the line that says he'd take in half his current earnings.
If you look at his post again you'd realise that PayPal can no longer be an option for this user due to his volume.
A merchant account seems like the most stable way to go.

Customers who need his product or service will pay by card.
His customers may prefer PayPal though they (probably all) have cards.

wow, did you manage to get it out? has the 180 days passed?

the way you get the time scale down is by pestering them.
and explaining there is not going to be anyone trying to claim money back,
send proof.

i don't know your exact circumstances like where the money was generated.
if its ebay upload tracking or send email with proof of postings,
and a big appeal.

or if its not ebay its easy.


they review it every 30 days.
i have that in writing
assuming release it as the risk factor lowers.

id be happy to help you i have reinstated many paypal accounts. and certainly can get that 180 days down especially if it was not in ebay.
