PayPal asking for SSN or ITIN document
"Upload a scanned copy of your Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) —free of blur, glare, and shadows containing all 9 digits of either document.
The legal full name must match the name registered on the PayPal account. If it doesn’t, you may need to update your account profile."
The options are:
1) W2 or pay stub
2) SSN card (front only)
3) 3rd-party prepared tax return (first page)
Would faking these documents be a viable option? Or should I just give up on this account. |
