VeRO detected by robots or human observers?
 

Hi All...

As in the title, is it actually Vero program violations detected by programed robots located on eBay servers, so we should be aware of them all the time (24h/24h), OR it is detected by human agents, so we should look for their working hours to be avoided, OR it is just detected by the product's real owner, so it is about our chances.

- & what are the human working hours?
- if I purchased a Vero software with serial then I listed it many times, is that considered as a violation?
-what if that software is offline activation, can i list more then one of it?

It is both, when the email says that they have been contacted by the rights owner then its manual intervention and also auto based on certain key words and when you repeat listing a product

So can i understand that when someone lists a Vero product, (if it has not been detected by owners), it placed in their Accused users list by robots to be verified after that by human.

It depends.

If a rights owner hires a company to remove vero, then a bot detects key words, pictures etc.. and removes listings. OR a rights owner could collect Item numbers and notify ebay to remove the items via phone call, email or snail mail. Also a small rights owner can have a Letter from an attorney remove listings the super slow method.

OR it could be a combination of all of the above.

Its both.

Years ago when ⊗⊗⊗⊗ Insanity DVD workout's starting flooding eBay and other marketplaces, Beachbody who is the company behind the title setup an internal team just to deal with Vero.

Within a month they had a customised crawler for eBay listing which would have any Vero listing reported within 5 minutes of being indexed

Some are human . My catagory is flagged/veroed by humans. Its Def not bots .
