How many have reinstated an account successfully after paying seller fees?
 

I'm curious if the times have changed and whether or not an investment of paying $750-$1,000 in unpaid seller fees on a verified legitimate account would be worth the risk of actually being reinstated to sell. The account has been dormant owing unpaid seller fee's for some time. Anyone have some horror or success stories lately?

Do you still have access to the original email address ? Is there any chance it is linked to any other account that has been restricted / suspended while the fee's were outstanding ? Was it ever activated on MP ?

I obviously haven't tried doing it lately but in the past yes it would be re-instated once the fee's were paid. With the way that ebay has been lately, I'm not sure if it's worth the risk or not. Would suck to pay all that $$4 and wind up with nothing - your probably better off going into the marketplace and buying a new account and just slowly rebuilding it.

The only negative thing connected to the account is the unpaid seller fees in the amount of $750-$1,000. There is access to email, telephone, everything. It was not activated on MP as it's an account from 2010 that stopped use a few years ago.

Did you ever end up paying the fee's? Curious how it went because I am in a similar situation. I had an account that hasn't been used since 2013, owed about $400 in seller fee's and it got suspended. With how ebay is now, I can't get a seller account AT ALL... I'd love to just have my original account back and not have to go through stealth accounts.

Your account will get reinstated for sure. Happens to mine when I forget to pay them. But out of the blue, after I paid one account. It was reinstated then suspended again a week later with no activity on there.

Depends on what it’s suspended for intially?
