Has anyone gotten this email? Perfect account.. how should I respond?

Hello peeps! Much to my surprise, I was able to get a legit 100% verified eBay account a few years after bilking them out of thousands (they stole from me first...no justification, but frick 'em)

Annnd everything has been running fine. Went through ID verification, etc etc, had an issue resolved with a seller, all good, lost several hundred probably due to refunds given in good faith, and now, the last hurdle after removing the defect;

Hello [name],

Thank you for contacting eBay, this is Umber L. Swahili and I will be happy to assist you with your concern regarding account restriction.

First of all, I would like to thank you for choosing eBay. I can see you have joined eBay recently and we really appreciate new member on our platform. I will be more than happy to assist you. I would like to thanks yoj for submitting the requested documents.

I can see why you might be upset about the action we took regarding the restriction on your account. Let me share that the reason for doing this is as a safety measure.
Now, this part I have already filled out on Wordpad, and am so to speak, "editing" it for final submission, this seems like the last hurdle to get back. I am still at "Above Standard" seller level;

Before being able to list or buy items, regularly, whenever we see potential risks involved in a member's activity we would be requiring them to provide more information of the account or verification of identity. We simply want to verify your business practices to ensure great experiences for your transactions with other members. That said I will request you to share your answers to the verification questions below, in order to appeal the restriction:

In case of selling:

· Could you let me know the items you intend to sell and from where you procure them?

· Could you let me know the stock you have in hand for these items and how you intend to ship them?

· Could you let me know the average price of these item?

In case of buying:

· Could you let me know the items that you are planning to purchase on the site and may I ask the payment method you will select for these purchases?

· How long will you be able to pay for the items?

Looking forward to your responses!

We thank you for your understanding of the situation and look forward to your continued patronage with eBay.

Regards,

Umber L. Swahili

Has anyone gotten this email before? The search engine didnt turn out anything related without PP.

Fully verified account, currently on hold, fully verified ID Bank statements Address ETC, and they asked me to re-upload the documents which I have now done so to remove the "Hold" on my account.

Frustrating as USPS delays are the reason for me losing hundreds, and on top of that, I doubt my merchandise will be returned "in good faith"

Anyways, how should I approach this? Just answer honestly, provide little details? I can provide invoices if needed but it will be a P.I.T.A to be honest.

Any insight is appreciated, my friends!

just give them what they ask,they just want to know if you have inventory on hand and not engaging in retail arbitrage

The message is a usual one which you get when you start to sell too much to fast, just give them what they want.

I went ahead and did this, turns out they just needed to verify my identity using credit security questions "What car did you have in 2008, etc"

Answered three questions correctly, they lifted the suspension.

Now a few days later I am hit with an MC011. Funds never made available. They have 2000+ of my money, not to mention I lost a 400 dollar item after I refunded it thanks to late delivery..I just shipped my last order today.

Replied to the email asking me to upload tracking info (Tracking is auto on all of my sales..) I compiled the list for them and now, I guess I need to wait.

Hoping for the best,...reminded of why I havent sold on eBay in YEARS.

Very frustrated..losing sleep. This is ridiculous.

How long will you be able to pay for the items?
------------
What do you plan to buy?
arent purchases have to be paid for when you place the order?
Unless they are big ticket items and the seller offers different payment methods?
