Odd reinstatement
 

So I had a weird reinstatement story today. I was selling a high dollar item. Put it up for sale and got the id verify suspension. I called ebay and was expecting the we will ask you 2 questions thing blah blah but the woman is like ok someone from ebay will call you on your registered number in 5 minutes. I started questioning her without sounding like i knew what i was talkinga bout like oh the person before told me someone would be asking me questions or something and shes just like no please wait for the call. So 20 minutes later I get a call on my tracfone and its an ebay rep and shes like hi this is ebay for blah blah are you trying to get your id verified and i was like yes and shes like ok who did you speak with and i told her the name of the first rep and shes just like ok thank you your account will be reinstated within the next 24 hours. Has this happened to anyone. Im just puzzled by the whole situation.

It's happened with a few other members here, except with giving the name of the person they chatted with online. You got off easy, be thankful :)

not sure. account is still not reinstated so i dunno. on hold right now trying to see whats going on.

It's happened to me, only I had to give the name of the person I chatted with online.

Never happened to me...but mainly cuz I just say...I have to go ASAP and I'm busy all day, EMAIL me the info I need and I'll answer back and then I hang up after I give em all the account info. Easy...breezy...(if you don't have the OG phone)

This has never happened to me, but I did use to get calls on new accounts when I listed just to verify if I was listing an item. Now they don't bother and call they only send me an email right away. I prefer the phone call then getting an email.
