Reinstating your account Hi guys,
I've been reading a lot the threads on this forum and finally decided to join :). So my story is that I've got permanently suspended years ago for having a low dslr for one bad month due to delays and such. And you get some impatience buyers and bam negative feedback.
I never tried to reinstate my account before because I never though it was possible. However, after reading some of your guys story I thought I might give it a try. So my question is really
1.) What do you think my chances are given the reason for my permanent suspension and time I had been suspended for already.
2.) Who do I contact or email to attempt to get my account reinstated.
3.) Will I be required to send any documents or anything? I would prefer to avoid this trouble if it is not necessary.
Thanks in Advance |

Sign into your suspended ebay account and go to your messages.
You should find an email containing all the information to get your account reinstated, if possible.
Report back with some information on that message.
You have to send in documents to e Bay for them to consider you for reinstatement. It is proof of your identity and registered address.

Start by speaking to live chat agent and take steps from there. |
Thanks for the advice guys.
Hey rsot, did they ask you to send in documents? Because that would give me a dilemma as I heard someone on this forum mention that will only help them get you easier in the future if you were to open a stealth account. |

| I am not sure if live chat is any different on that side of the world but when I used live chat for the same suspension, they told me their was nothing they could do because "this isn't our department, this is Trust & Safety". Though they did get T&S to email me with more information about my account.
AND about sending your docs Goma, I have said it before, only being able to rely on your ID for one PP acount is not very efficient is it? So how do other people manage to send in different ID for each account...think!
:peace: |
I sent a email, since no option for livechat. How typically you think I could expect to hear back from them? Or maybe they might not even response:doh: |
What's your feedback and longetivity? Live chatis accessible if you go under customer support and go click seller -> technical issue -> live chat - fastest way to get on it. |
I don't think you can get on live chat with a suspended account. But anyways I got an email reply from a rep already.
I can't believe that they really suspend you for something like this indefinitely without any chance to getting reinstated. The rep was pretty nice though, but I guess it's a just their policy which there is no way to get around I suppose. |

Got suspended out of the blue last night and talking to ebay has been like beating my head against a wall. Unbelievable, we were averaging paying ebay $1100 a month in fees for the past 2 years and they couldn't give less of a ****. |
| ShadyOne | 04-27-2011 06:07 PM | ^^ When I here someone moaning about eb ay fees I always say, why use them again then? But I already know the answer... | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:11 AM. | |
