How long untill you can reopen an account in your own name and address?
 

When is it safe to reopen a suspended account in your own info?
Basically how long does ebay hold on to our info for tracking?

Never. Any information you supplied to ebay on an old account they hold on to. Any information used again will be linked to the suspended account and the new account will be shut down. As everyone here will tell you if your looking to succeed on ebay you have to let go of a lost account and go stealth. Get the book and it will explain everything!

You would have to be reincarnated to be able to use your own details without getting suspended.

Im just curious how this policy of blacklist for life is known?
have you guys tested very old account details?... like 2years and over?

The whole ethos of the Auction Site is that they trust no-on. Keeping data costs them nothing. They only want squeeky clean people who will play the game by their rules therefore it follows that if you have been kicked off you didn't play by their rules - thus - you aint coming in!!

No one knows for sure if it is a lifetime ban as things can change by the minute. If EBs business was to collapse they might even go looking for all those people who had been thrown off but logically - and stealth requires a lot of logic - they don't want you, to them you are trouble with a capital T, therefore they are going to do all they can to keep you off.

But of course you may try it and prove us all wrong. Personally I prefer to keep my head below the parapet.:amen:

I have tried it before I found this forum with a 8 year old account that I STILL dont know what I was suspended for. The ended up linking my new account real quick. We've all found that its easier to be someone else in this ebay game then trying to restore our good name.

I wouldnt even consider using my real details again even if I could.

If anything stealth has helped me make more money than before!

They linked one of my accounts to my mothers 3 year old banned account. so.. never
