Listings--with a NUMERAL in them ??
 

HI:
Anyone ever encounter this,

I just placed 3 listings for the same type item in about 10 minutes ago,

2 of the listings already showing up, the 3rd has not, the ONLY difference, is that the listing which did not show up, has a NUMERAL, a digit in it??

Which then i began to think, I have lost a couple accts, when trying to list a LOT of 3 , for example,

Is this Chance? IS this ANOTHER security measure??

i.e. a.) Brand new Gold Bowl antique---- lists right away

b.) Brand New antique pewter bowl--lists right away
(BTW- the GUTS are all the same, just had to change pics, and title)--

c.) Brand New Gold bowl with 3 spoons----NOT LISTED AFTER 30 mins...

Why ???

You need to run more tests to be certain. Sometimes ebay does stuff randomly.

I have made quite a few listings before with numbers without problems, example "2nd" "9th" etc.. or "2 disc set"...maybe check your description verbage for any violations? I cut and pasted a few descriptions w/o reading through them and they had swear words in them...changed it showed right up..

What about if you list an Xbox 360? or PS3? I just listed an Xbox 360 a few days ago, and I'm not 100 percent for certain if it was instant, but I know it went up within thirty minutes. I don't think it could be a security measure with people always selling these 2 particulaur video game systems without a hitch.

maybe people have begun to use numbers (l33t sp34k) to avoid VERO issues
