Account Suspended: MC049 NOTICE - Abusing eBay Section 9
 

Hi. So, here's my problem. I'm more of a buyer than a seller on eBay.. But just the moment I thought of selling on eBay, I listed 2 items. The items were just digital wallpapers for desktop which I found out other people were doing the same thing. And those wallpapers are my own original creation!

About 5 minutues after that, I received tons of emails in my inbox from eBay telling me about my "bid cancellations" and then it finally showed an email "Account Suspended." :doh:

Jeez... First thing that came to my mind, "what the hell did I do wrong???"
Second email received from eBay "MC049 NOTICE: eBay Registration Suspension - User Agreement - Abusing eBay"

So, now what? They didn't exactly say what I did wrong but only stated that I violated the User Agreement of Section 9.

Question is, how do I get them to reinstate my eBay account? I've read some of you in this forum has got you account or accounts reinstated. So, with all your help, I hope someone can help me with this.

First, you will need to contact them via e-mail or call them up. They may ask for documents. But if the account is new, I would say not worth the trouble. Once you are labelled as problematic with eb ay, that's it for that account most of the time.

Getting suspended from Agreement of Section 9 generally means that you got linked.

The account isn't new.. It's good for a few months already until U listed my items 2 days ago..
And I do not have more than 1 account. So, it cant be linked.

I did email them though, but they said they still have to suspend my account without even asking as documents...
I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?

Be careful with logging into any other account because you have just got linked somehow.

go stealth and set up a few accounts incase you dont get this one back

if they just suspended you outright i cant see them giving you a break anytime soon but you can try for nothing

you may of been linked to another banned user in some way,maybe a family member or friend who got suspended may of used your pc to log in to there account one time

there are a big deference between being buyer and seller, if you are buyer that's OK, do what ever you want for years if you want to...but when create your seller account and start to sell that will be the big deal....you should check everything...your PC hardware, IP, MAC, financial information, address, name, telephone number...nightmare
