MC999 eBay Account Suspended

I had my eBay account for more than a year and I use it to purchase items only, today I receive this following message,

Quote:

We're writing to let you know that your eBay account has been suspended because we reviewed the account and found the following

Members who we believe misuse or attempt to misuse the eBay site, tools, the eBay Buyer Protection programme or otherwise create an unfair, imbalanced marketplace are subject to the Abusing eBay section of the User Agreement. At this time, you won't be able to use your eBay account for buying, selling, or other activities. Any selling fees you owe are due and will be charged to your billing method.

Please note that you can't register a new account or use an existing account while your account is suspended. Doing so may result in the indefinite suspension of your eBay account.

Because of your continued activity and our previous warnings, our decision is final and we won't be able to respond to further inquiries.

Thats very strange considering youre a buyer only.
My guess is they somehow - and by mistake - linked your account to another. Possibly one of the sellers you bought from.

Did you file lots of Ebay buyer protection claims?? Most of the time they ban buyers it is from abuse of the buyer protection system.

What did you get accused of/do Casterina?

Out of 42 purchase on eBay, I only open 6 disputes which I didn't receive the item

There's your answer then. 1 in 7 items is far too high. Ebay has suspended you as they believe you are a scammer.

Given you appear to not receive such a high proportion of items it is fairly easy to see why ebay took the action they did.

Do you have an explanation for opening so many cases? How long did you wait after purchasing before opening those cases? Did you contact the sellers in the first instance? Do you have shared mail box that would explain all the "missing" items?

The 6 items that I ordered didn't turn up

I waited 20 days before opening a dispute case

I contacted the seller but some didn't reply and some reply to wait another 2-3 weeks, the item is shipped in UK using either 1st or 2nd Class Standard

I don't have a shared mail box

I'm surprised the sellers didnt offer to resolve before you opened the cases.

According to Royal Mail about 1% of mail sent goes missing, so you can see why ebay got suspicious of you due to the fact 15% of your purchases went missing.

You should report the matter to Royal Mail as it would appear one of the workers in your local delivery office is a thief.
