Ebay message

"You recently listed the following listing:

Unfortunately, we had to remove your listing because of the following:

Your listing is selling twitter followers.

Most social networking companies have similar limitations in their terms of service that restrict the artificial boosting of another member's following or popularity, or restrict the sale of accounts with established followings. Because of that and other concerns, we have decided not to allow listings that would facilitate or promote this type of activity.

Please do not relist.

Due to privacy concerns, the following items may not be listed or sold on eBay:

- Bulk email, Internet Protocol (IP), or Instant Messenger (IM) lists
- Mailing lists that contain names, addresses, phone numbers, or other personal information
- Tools or software designed to send unsolicited commercial email (UCE) or spam
- Established accounts to social networking or other sites that might include personal information
- Solicitation for social networking site page guaranteed "likes" or guaranteed followers "

What is it that you are asking? If they keep removing your listing, then stop listing it

Don't sell this anymore, u can't base your business on what someone else is doing, everyone's account is different and selling this type of item on a new account just won't work

Facebook likes = digital stuff....not recommended selling on a FRESH account. Perhaps build your account and then (after some time), try a test sale but STUDY what other sellers are doing. Don't just jump in - your current experiment model sounds like a failure

ebay do not like your business plan.

Be careful of what you do, what you list.

ebay will suspend you.

Do not put personal info like item numbers in open forum

From eBay's email to you, they are letting you know that selling Facebook Likes (although they referenced Twitter) is against eBay policy.

If you continue to list these for sale, eBay will continue to remove your listings and suspend your account. If you create new accounts to sell these, the same thing will most likely happen.

In simple terms, you need to find something else to sell.

Build your accounts with other low-end sales OP

why not put item numbers or ebay ID? you think ebay is watching LOL? really why?

JamesNorth101 06-18-2013 02:32 AM

:spy: very Likely that they are watching, and putting in an item number or EB ID is a very easy way to link your account.

It's the protocol.

We exclude such info being posted to allow users to have their privacy.

Come on man, are you serious? I am just curious why would they be watching ?

If they really are I am going to post my competitors and people that upset me on ebay!

Not just eB but other malicious sellers/buyers - this is an open sub-forum...
