Calling eBay to un-suspend personal eBay account?

Hello, one of my personal eBay accounts has been recently suspended from selling and buying on eBay for shield-bidding (bidding on your own items) an d I was wondering if I call and apologize and pull some stupid excuse they will un-banned my accounts?

Can someone give me any tips/ideas/personal experience on what to do in a situation like this? Thanks!

Actually ebay hate shill bidding.

Not sure what you could say....

What do you think you might say?

That at the time when I was shill bidding I wasn't aware of eBay policies and I'm very sorry for what I did ? Any suggestions?

That is a tough one, ebay is cold and unforgiving and u did something that deliberately tried to get by on them to manipulate ur feedback which ebay holds as sacred.

But can't hurt to try and call a few times that way u talk to different agents, one thing u can count on is how inconsistent their customer service is and the fate of ur business is in the hands of people who are having a good day and others a bad day,

So hopefully u get someone that is having a terrific day and your able to talk ur way out of

No that wont work - stupid excuses arent acceptable. You either PROVE you werent shill bidding or (perhaps) try to life your suspension in 3 months...

What was the feedback like? Easier to build new stealth accounts and STOP doing shill bidding

Try giving them a ring and see what happens. No harm if the account is blocked.

Really does depend on who you talk to at EB.

True point James - can depend on agent...some are more helpful than others

Shill bidding is very much frowned upon by eB - even if you try to explain, they are unlikely to trust reactivation of the account.

No excuse, sorry

sellers are meant to know the rules

eBay get bored with that one.

Instead of calling maybe email them.

Sellers kinda don't sound sincere calling telling the sob story and eBay gets madder.

Try whatever rocks your boat.

Learn stealth.

Learn how to not annoy eBay.
