is there anything i can do

i was told i was banned for life basically

i was told me communication rating was too low

i was 2.5 % i think it was and the acceptable limit was 2 %

no banned items , no cases , just 2 people who said my communication was poor,

is there anything i can do at all ...............

im having a really hard time trying to figure out the stealth account stuff

Was your communication really poor?

Usually buyers are not allowed to leave DSR for communication, if there was no communication between buyer and seller. Maybe you have not replied to their messages?

Have you tried calling in yet? It's a long shot but if your suspended have nothing to lose

Also call if u don't get a helpful rep hang up and call back, try it several times you may luck out and get someone to reinstate u, but it's a long shot

If you want to sell on eBay you will need to learn stealth, there's no race, it takes time, learn the right way no short cuts eventually u will get better and better

U already see how fragile and powerless u are with one account, even if u do get reinstated , do you want to work in feat that any second is the end of ur income.

Make many accounts and spread sales out

I tried calling at the time it happend and of course got no where .. and was told there was no way to appeal anything
i was at 2.4 % and the % i guess that was ok was 2 %

I had originally had a CANADA account .. i changed the currency on the account since i was in the USA now .. and that very same week had a issue .. we got is figured out and there was neutral feedback left but they left a 1 on communication adn since i had just changed to USA my numbers got all skewed ..

i was ABOVE STANDARD worldwide but below in USA and i was banned 3 days later

Make new stealth accounts in the time but to TRY to get this account back, call up eB or email and hope. Tell them clearly your message and how you will resolve it on your end.

Call me crazy but never give up on an account.

Ei. When I was banned about 18 months ago, I was shocked.
I got the email from EB and it read all items are not listed.
I was almost in a panic but I held it together and called EB right away.
I got on the phone with some really really nasty lady who had no sympathy.
(She probably just got off talking to someone else who also had issues with EB.

Anyways she was so direct and cutting. I remember it well.
She immediately got snippy with me.
Conversation was over.

Waited about a week later.. thought it over and called again.
I got this other guy who was 10x nicer but still no resolve.

I called once again, this time about a month later.
(Notice how EB is killing my spirits here lol).
And I was able to talk to this one lady who was so understanding.
She heard my story, and said yes this is a good case to get appealed.
I was shocked!!!! Appealed??!! I was not even aware that could be done

So I got the fax number and sent in the hospital records.
Waited waited waited.
Called, sent in again. Waited. Called sent in again.
Ended up in trash! Sent in again!

Finally got them, got an email back saying appeal denied.
!
I strongly have a feeling that EB did not even look over my case.

But moral of the story with EB...
Call call and call. Keep at them until you get some one who is human.

considering calling in .. its been about 13 months since i first lost my real account ... is this too risky ? does it put my current stealth accounts at risk

So you have already created or bought new stealth accounts, that is excellent, are they going ok, you doing well with them? Probably time to let your old account go, trying to get it back after more than a year is just going to tie u up in knots, let it go and concentrate on bringing your new accounts up to the level your old account was at, and probably a good idea not to move countries again while you are working on developing on those accounts!!

I have never heard of anyone having their account back on ebay after being suspended.

There are some cases where it has happened.

ebay was handing out you can no longer sell on this account limitations for 12 months.

Am aware of 4 accounts that got restored AFTER that year but also after offering ebay the first born son and a whole heap of grovelling an licking parts of the body. :eek:

To date, these accounts are still up but used in a very very minor way.

No, not my accounts either.

I can attest to calling in an arguing a legitimate case ,I have had 3 accounts restored on ebay by being persistent yo need to get a american rep in trust and safety . If the account is worth saving go for it just have all your info ready If you get a rep ask there location once they advise you tell them you appreciate ther service but you have to call back or get a supervisor

from my understanding the EB seller requirements changed in March '14 (instead of the DSR categories, they changed the policy to above vs below "standards") --
for the upcoming month I am falling "below standard" so does that definitely mean a suspension? or, is there leniency for long-term accounts and due to the fact that EB might be easier after changing the policy in March? this is a very important seller acct so I cannot lose it. . ....

Correct - one approach does involve trying for different agent or supervisor.

Below standard does not mean your account is suspended
It means they will lower your seller limits until they see
you are no longer below standard
Why will it be below standard? What rating?

Oh, regarding leniency? my account is from 1996, 5000+ feedback.
I went below standard last year when they implemented the crazy DSR
Didn't matter how long I had been with them or what my feedback was
Too bad, below standard. I am now above standard but I had to work
like a dog and sell a ton of things to get my percentages down.
