Scernario of using suspended IP by mistake
 

I was just wondering what the approximate risk factor is if you use a suspended IP for your new stealth account for say a short length of time - do their systems likely pick it automatically and flag you?

Its just that I am currently using a VPN on my new stealth account and was worried that their servers could go down randomly and I would not notice. Or could be disconnected for some reason and use my old 'static IP'

Frustratingly I have a static IP address and circumstances mean the virgin broadband account holder is in my uncle's name who I know won't change it (he set it up for his mum and lives elsewhere)

When you have you livelihood at stake you need to have 99.99999% faith that Ebay won't pull the floor again,

So, far stealthing is great so thanks to this great community in giving me my business back - so far so good!

So, to summarize is it a massive risk if you use one of your old IPs even for a short length of time on your stealth account? By the way I stress that under no circumstances would I ever log-in to a suspended account on the same computer.

Need to be carful when selecting a VNP

Yes it would be detected and acted upon. This is an inherent risk with using open source VPN software, there are methods which will make IP & DNS leaks impossible, a lot of paid VPN providers have these methods scripted into their clients although it is possible to do it by yourself.
