Using another Address
 

So I will be purchasing a new address via the UPS store. My question is how many accounts can I use with this address? With people who have 10 accounts how do they manage to do returns and everything else involved with that many addresses, etc?

Keeping very accurate records of each account, having the vital details of each account near to each phone in case of ID phone calls, and the most important point, that getting that many accounts to last the course and not fall by the wayside, are probably important points.

I was giving any idea of how people can cope with more accounts Greenbean! Which was part of the question.

No. The OP wanted to know the more delicate workings of using account with addresses via the UPS system.

Erm... if you read again you will see the question was :

In other words... cost effect, organising to get the item back to you after its returned (since its a bought address) etc... of having multiple return addresses at the same place.


He didnt ask how to manage a stealth account & keep it safe.

So I guess i'll state my question again as...I now have a new address that I am going to use. Can I use this same address just for the returns with all my stealth accounts? All other information will be different.

You can use it as a return address. But you wont be able to input the address in to ebay . It would link your accounts.

If you send out a note with your items, which has the return address on, that would work. Your problem would occur when people use the managed returns process, they,are given your stealth address autonatically. You would need to contact them and give them your correct address.

As always, the best solution is to have one accessable address per account. That way you have no issues with returns or linking.

Its up to you to decide how much risk you want to take.
