Re: You echeque has cleared?

Eh, what are you asking? You don't need an e-check for anything, but it's possible one of your buyers chose to pay you that way.

Did a buyer pay you with a check (cheque) which has now cleared?

So £500 showed up in your account and you can't find out why?

Oh I understand what you're saying now. There would have been no need for a check since you have a balance. This sounds like some sort of fraud to me honestly. Have you looked into the transaction details to see what was purchased and where the items were shipped? I'm baffled by your situation. I don't see how someone could have done an e-check payment from your account unless someone had access to both your Paypal and bank account.

Re: You echeque has cleared?

Clear and concise questions are nice, but in complex scenarios a little bit more information can help others help you.

eCheque can be sent or received. Buyers sometimes send you eCheque payments (unknowingly) and when your buying, you may be forced to sometimes use an eCheque. It usually happens when a) you don't have a sufficient balance and b) Your only funding source is a bank account because the cards on the PP account have expired. In other words, you don't have a backup funding source.

First check your transaction history to see if the transactions have gone through as an echeque. If they have, nothing you can do at this point.

Then check to ensure you have a valid card attached to your account (backup funding source), to prevent this happening again.
