Wired thing happened togay
 

made paypal verified account 2 days same time made eBay account

Yesterday listed items average 40 pounds


Boom sold 5 today


And money is available In paypal No 21 days hold

It never went to pending even i didn't dispatch any Order

First time it happened to me

I am just trying to recall the steps i made to setup both accounts

Anyone with same experience?

New accounts always has 21 days pending from paypal

Not true. I made an account a couple of months ago. Never had 21 day holds. Still going strong.

I agree that the norm is to have a 21 day hold, but this account dodged that bullet.

I am really confused

Like is it pp or Ebay who is not holding money?

Generally pp hold funds On eBay account status

I guess the postcode i used is really strong and clean

Yup, got me confused too.

Made paypal, then immediately registered on ebay and listed straight away, not even a bank attached to paypal (there is now). I got a 10 item limit.

Its a glitch and it happens sometimes - no method involved or strong postcodes etc.

It's random from what I've seen.. but there is a HIGH chance you'll get an email from PayPal notifying you of 21-day holds going forward or at least some limits on withdraws going forward.

21 day hold normally from ebay side, due to account under 90 days old,
PayPal can try to remove this aswell if you ring them up if not they will refer you back to ebay

if its a glitch than its a big one you can sell up-to 650GBp if you know what i mean:argue::argue::argue:

Anyway i have already created the account with similar method and listed a single unit will see when its been sold out....

Good experience USB - part could be from account setup, part from SOURCE of payment.

hahahaha. I thought of you also when I read the title. I assumed OP meant something happened to him which would have usually happened to you. :)

I was on the pone with PP few times about it.
As they explained it, they have an automatic system in place which decides whether to release/hold/let withdraw the money. And it can be quite random as I experienced.

Don't be surprised, if your next 5 items will be held ;P

Nothing PayPal will ever tell you is true. You will learn that when you've been around the block a few more times.

I can confirm that its not random...

Made 2 account after this one with similar details From scratch, And yes there are no holding limits first sale straight went to available balance, I even send the money as f&f to check and it went smooth...:dance::dance:

It may be a glitch but it's a regular one at present affecting UK accounts, may hay while the sun shines and all that... ;)

I didn't intend to make accounts without 21 hold limit
Its just comes as a surprise

It has Nothing to do with bank account and cc

Its all About From where you send the item :bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce:

Its still working have 7 account in row same method all of them without 21 Hold, All accounts with different cc, bank, wanted to catch the Root:typing:
I even sold iphone 5s to test it with Big amount...

Yuppy Finally i made it
I think i figure out Bay high selling accounts
was doing experiments from the last 2 weeks
Made account yesterday with 1000/10,000 Limit

Looks like this has come to an end now. Tried opening a few more account this week and the all had payment holds.

Do you mean the 21 day hold by PayPal? And when you say it's come to an end, do you mean creating accounts like the above?

Yes new accounts are having the 21day hold applied again. Was good while it lasted
