Why are UK eBay Stealth Accounts so Popular
 

Why are UK eBay Stealth Accounts so popular. It seems like it's almost as par with US accounts. Is it because there's yearly 200/20000 limit to the paypal accounts like you have with the US accounts?

You pretty much don't see any other regional accounts other than UK. Just curious.

UK doesn't have the 200/$20,000 IRS problem, they have their own set of obstacles.

The UK is a capitalists dream. We single handedly buy more 'junk' than any other European country, hence there is more demand and requirement for E Commerce.

where are you basing this info, from the forum sections?
we are represented here as it is an English speaking forum.
Uk does like to buy more online - we have a high population too....
UK site is thriving. Ebay and amazon get the most traffic...
other countries have ebay, but the also have other sites that have similar traffic, so it is shared out...france is one example with cdiscount...

I would not say UK account is easier though, but I think it is more well-respected internationally by buyers, than alot of other countries...

Yes, the 200/20k are a major barrier to entry in the US. Way back on the forum before that went into effect fully in 2011, this forum seemed like it use to have way more active US members than it currently does.
