I'm new here and very worried about Paypal!!!
Hello everyone,
I really need some realistic advice about paypal....I have just called them to try and scope it out and the guy on the other end was not the most reassuring.
Essentially I am about to start a dropshipping business on eBay. I have a dropship account with a supplier which has a UK warehouse and uses Royal Mail (untracked). I have a business seller eBay Featured Store which has been open around 6 months. My Paypal account i have had for years.
My listing allowances have been boosted to 3000 listings a month, I havent had any active listings for a couple months while i was deciding what best to do online for income.
My plan is to bulk upload 3000 listings from my dropship account. I use a 1% of inventory sold per day general rule. So around 30 sales a day.
I expect most of my items will be sold for around £10 - so potentially a total of £300 in received payments to Paypal per day......
I called Paypal to check if i had any receiving limits and check they won't do anything horrendous like lock my funds. The answer i got wasn't all that reassring......rolling reserves of 10%-100% for 30 or 90 days......minimum reserves of £1000!!!!!
How the hell do i cope with this. How does anyone cope with this??
I need to access the funds to place the corresponding orders with my dropshipper!
*A side note - I am setting up an online business so i can spend time overseas with my partner who works in Egypt. Now i am worried about logging in from another country too..........*
Advice! Likelihood? Ways to manage? Please help!!
