item purchased by USA buyer
 

Theres just one problem - my listing does not offer selling to the USA - they have now asked for an invoice to be sent.
I don't want to send this item to the USA. Has anyone here had this problem and how did you solve it?

The buyer may have been using a non-USA IP address which allowed them to purchase from you.

Only solution I can think of is trying to get the buyer to approve a cancellation of the order. If they don't agree to cancel you can fault yourself for the cancellation and take the ding to your dashboard. Or if you're comfortable enough you could call in and explain the situation. You may get an Ebay rep willing to cancel the order for you without it impacting your account negatively.

Hehe your right there wired about South America being another country, I was beginning to think it was on another planet after the apparent interaction with this guy through messages until I mentioned I had been checking up on him and his 'payment', by phoning eBay and getting them to check him out, the sale was through the Global Shipping Programme after all. All in all pretty unbelievable situation, what are eBay doing promoting buyers like him through that Programme who then try to scam us!!
