Am I being mega paranoid regards Gmail?
 

Please forgive me for this probably very stupid question, but not knowing all the in’s and out’s of how and what software may or may not store and share, drives me to ask it.

I have a stealth Gmail account, which I have only ever logged into using my dedicated stealth PC (This PC is only used for ebay, paypal and gmail, nothing else and it also has its own dedicated IP address)

Is there any danger if I log into my stealth Gmail account from another PC with another IP address? (Note: I would never use this other PC to access my stealth ebay or paypal account) Does Gmail track and log IP addresses and then make these IP addresses visible to other software systems e.g. ebay or paypal?

A similar question regards my Norton multi-PC antivirus software, will this software in anyway give away to my ebay or paypal account, my antivirus licensing details which are logged in my real name?

I’m probably being mega paranoid, but feel it’s better to be safe than sorry and ask the experts here first.

Forgot to state that I would only be viewing ebay messages sent to my Gmail account.

I would never reply back to these messages using Gmail, instead I would login to ebay using the dedicated stealth PC to reply to these messages.

LOL! It's probably more the case that I need to smoke more to completely zone out!

But seriously, am I being overly worried regards the Gmail thing?

just login to gmail or actually look at emails?

if you look at emails, keep images switched off on it....re flash cookies

can opening an email, capture ip address, I looked in to this and concluded no, as it is gmails server ip that gets transmitted back at the most, but I might be wrong on that....

I want to log-in to Gmail and also be able to look at and read the ebay emails. I will never reply to these emails in Gmail using the non-stealth PC.

I will take your advice and keep images switched off re flash cookies.

I will create an additional new user account on the non-stealth PC and configure the browser as instructed in the Stealth Guide and only ever use this new user account for viewing ebay emails through Gmail.

Many of us respond to ebay messages from Gmail and have 50 active gmails per device.

We use gmail as a stealth tool.

The exact opposite ideas you are having about gmail helps many of us operate.

The member Play has a quick tutorial on how to use multiple gmails for a tool on ebay.

I agree, each email is opened on its own user and you are safe.

Just disable external images in gmail and you will be fine. Been doing stealth for 4 years using gmail, accounts are working perfectly fine.
