Do i have a reason to be concerned ?
 

OK ...
I have a stealth account which I have been using now for 2 weeks and sales are steady and money is slowly coming in.

Everything is good and I got a message today to say, Ebay were raising my limit from 100 a month to 150 Great !!

Here is the predicament...

Yesterday I sold an item to a chap in the USA Santa cruz with 0 feedback and he created the account on the same day ??
And the day before a guy from France bought an item again with 0 feedback and created the account the same day... ok coincidence maybe but ... the user name on both accounts looks very similar a load of random numbers with an underscore and a load of letter after it.

Both accounts were created the same day and both user names look the same although in different places of the world, they both paid straight away but it look pretty suss to me....

Any advice will be appreciated on this matter as I don't know if to send the items out and think nothing of it or do I report it to ebay as suspicious?? I also don't want to draw attention to myself for obvious reasons..

This is how eBay generates new usernames now. It takes a few letters from your email name, maybe add a underscore, and then slap on some digits that are either random or related to the registration date.

This itself is not something to be worried about. However, do practice your other common senses and ship with tracking.

Many thanks Binary for your quick response and answering my question.
It just looked very suspicious to me that was all.
I ship everything tracked these days as I used to get fed up of liars telling me they never received the goods when most of the time I knew they had, and getting their money back and a free item and leaving me with no a leg to stand on with Ebay ... I Wont fall into that trap ever again.

Its sounds a coincidence just 2 new users which have not changed their ID from ebay auto generated one

I think those weird usernames are guest buyers that haven't bothered to register a proper ebay account. Stupid idea really as troublesome buyers that sellers have blocked can just sign in as a guest and continue to buy. Incidentally, lately when I try to block bidders ebay just takes me to some rubbish seller centre page.
