Wtf

One of my fully verified stealths ( with photo id )
was limited asking for proof of business

When i log in it forces me to upgrade to a business account
the weird thing is the address is already filled in with my real home address
not the stealth address registered on the account.

Have i been linked ?

I used a separate vps so i know i haven't been linked through ips / cookies etc.

Re: Wtf

No link, If you are registered on a personal account but selling large volumes it triggers this change request.
is the proof of business part request through PP?

Not bothered about that
in the business upgrade form the address is already filled in but its my real home address not the address on the stealth account
How did they find out ?

Re: Wtf

Have you ever used the Paypal account to pay for goods and entered your home address for delivery?

Check what addresses you have added to the account in the settings menu.

Could it not be your browser that is auto-populating these fields due to having entered the info elsewhere? Check by logging into Paypal on another browser.

I only used the account for selling, ive never used my real address and im using Firefox browser which dosen't have the auto-populating feature

could it be the bank account exposing my address ?
its a lloyds savings account

That's the only thing I could think of as well.
Might not be paypal doing I at all but your computer filling up information automatically for you.

Re: Wtf

Read the above replies already told you i use Firefox which doesn't have the auto form filling feature

Re: Wtf

Then I guess you got linked somehow.
Those are pretty much the only two options I see. Just thinking the auto filler is more likely since you say you kept complete separation - unless you were not as careful as you think you were...

Re: Wtf

does sound like a back door link... just waiting for you to submit the info and poof...

something simular happened to me way back in the early days... i stupidly bought a pizza from dominoes when they 1st started accepting paypal... before i knew it id put in my delivery address... being my actual and not stealth one or someone would have gotten a nice free pizza... anyhow sometime later i went into pp one day to pay some ebay fees and what not and boom my invoice address was showing as my own true address same order as id put it in on the delivery note for the pizza...

i never hung around to see what would have happened... dumped the account and moved on

Re: Wtf

I once called paypal and they called me by my real name (not stealth) then instantly corrected themselves.

i personally would try a different browser just to be safe

That's odd - that they called you by name other than that of the account hmm
