Question About Tracking
 

Hi everyone,

I recently had my paypal account banned due to it being linked to my roommates one (he was selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ stuff he bought from aliexpress) and am trying to create a new one.

I just wanted to ask if it was ok to create a new profile on my Imac to make the new paypal or if I would have to buy a new laptop??

Also, I have a Huawei E5330 mobile router with a EE data sim. I believe my old paypal is linked to the EE ip address. Is buying a new data sim ok for the new account or do I have to buy another mobile router?

Ciao Panterauk, welcome to the forum.

No need to buy new hardware, a new profile on your iMac and a new IP will be enogh. If you are not able to get a new IP switchin off and on your Huawei E5330 mobile router then you need another SIM.

Be aware that you need to make everything new on your accounts: personal infos, listing template, pictures... etc etc...

If you get the stealth guide, it will be very helpful for you to start without failures ;)

I have purchased a new o2 sim but I just had 1 more question. I know that every time the router switched off and then on the IP address changes.

I tested the new sim 3 times this morning and it gave 3 very different ip address

E.g:
175.09.3.20
200.3.201.123
122.34.55.123

Whenever I restarded the router with my EE sim, the IP address would change but it would be a minor change

e.g it would go from 111.11.11.111 to 111.11.11.115

Should I use a different sim card or is the O2 one ok?

Sorry if this is a stupid question :'( I have just become extremely paranoid with paypal recently.

Even a different change is ok. Just one digit will be fine, it has to be different from the previous one.
