new start on ebay, but a problem yet again!
hi all!
several years ago, i had a thriving ebay account where i was making enough to pay most of my bills.
then i had a couple of scam emails, or emails from disgruntled traders saying i was selling malfunctioning stuff and that they would complain to ebay...i was selling used cameras..all fully tested by myself before shipment.
anyway, long story short,they complained, ebay suspended me along with ppl.
now, about 4 years later i moved home, started a new ebay account, all working perfectly (not a stealth account), using real name, address etc
now, after selling for around 6 months, i checked my paypal and theres a message saying i have to send them ID docs, a DL or passport.
well my passport i already sent them a copy years ago, so its probably on file...anyway, i checked my passport and its expired!
my DL is a UK one, credit card type with photo, but it has my old address and real DOB on it.
what can i do? i dont know if i can change the DOB on my DL to match that on record...anybody know how i can do it, pls?
they say i can send a DL or passport copy or other Govt doc....what other govt doc could suffice, pls?
the only thing i have at this new address is a utility bill (gas/electric) and council tax letter, but these all dont have my DOB on them...will they be acceptable?
i dont want to lose this account as its on my new address etc..
im selling general cheap household stuff..
