Thinking of linking PP & Ebay account - tips?
 

Am currently operating a 3 mth old PP account, verified & confirmed.

Also opened after this, an EBay account in different name, address, email etc.
Have made a few purchases using Entropay card

If I link the EB a/c to PP a/c, will there be an automatic limitation?

(don't want to risk it as PP a/c has a few £'000 in it)

Or should I first change the details on the EB a/c to match the PP a/c - before I link the a/cs?

If the info on the two accounts is different I would advise against it. Its a always a red flag when such accounts are linked and any sort of review will reveal the discrepancy and will raise questions you might not be able to answer.

Ideally you need the information to match on ebay and paypal.

I wouldn't risk just linking them with hundreds stuck in paypal.

If the email address is the same then you should be OK.

Ideally you do want the name and the address on the eBay and the PayPal to match, but that alone wont cause a limitation on the account

Get the money out of the PayPal ASAP preferably before you attemp linking the accounts just in case it does cause you any hassles, and never again leave that much money in PayPal, it is never a wise idea.
