Lifting PayPal receiving limits

So I uploaded all relevant documents to remove my receiving limits a few weeks ago. I'm now at the point where I'm about to max out my current receiving limits.

When I log into my paypal account I'm greeted with a message that says they need more information, when I go to resolve the issue I can clearly see I have already given them the info and I'm just greeted with the same message saying "We’ll get back to you within a few days." that I have been seeing for weeks.

Will they actually bother to look at the documents before my account reaches the limits or am I going to have to stop selling while I wait?

Is it worth me trying to ring paypal or is that just asking for trouble?

I understand its how close to the limits you are that speeds up the verification process.

If you are under limits it could take a couple of weeks

If you have reached your EU limit I would expect a response within 48 hours.

I expect to reach the limit by the end of the week. Have to hope for the best I suppose.

As soon as you go over the EU limits then it should be within 48 hours

While you are under the EU limits it can take 4/5 weeks

Re: Lifting PayPal receiving limits

I have one right now where it has so far taken eight and a half weeks.

I have nothing listed on the attached EBay Account and nothing in the Paypal Account.

I did get a warning a few months ago that ID was required but I simply stopped listing.

The PP account was then converted from the old "classic" look to the "updated" look.

Not sure if that altered anything.

I am not chasing them I refuse to. I hate communicating with EBay/Paypal.

I've just taken a stealth account over the limits- documents were uploaded a few days ago. Would me calling tomorrow morning help things along- or do people recommend sitting tight and waiting?

I think sit tight and waiting for at-least 48 hours after achieving your limit. Anything after that you may see fit to call.

I have a stealth account and I have seen the lift limits tab, I also want to increase my limits.
If I press this what info are they going to need from me to upload to them, bearing in mind my account came with the bear basics, it was a bought account not made?

Thanks

Take James the great man advise. It will take max 48 hours once you hit the receiving limit.

So the account reached the limits last Friday, it's been way way longer than 48 hours now and still nothing. What should I do? There is a couple of grand sitting in the account and I need that money out of there.

stop collecting money until passed, it doesnt pass then money lost.

Is it worth me calling paypal at this point or is that dangerous/a waste of time?

Re: Lifting PayPal receiving limits

your probably best to call them than keep on collecting cash, least you will know where you stand.

Re: Lifting PayPal receiving limits

Back in August it was 48 hours. Now that we are in the run upto to Christmas though everything is running much slower and it taking 5/6 days even when you hit the EU limit

Best thing to do is just wait it out

OK I'm going to give it until next Tuesday morning and then I'll ring. I did wonder if it might be down to the time of year.

Took just under 48 hours for 2 UK accounts of mine after they hit the withdrawal limit. Sit tight.

My account got hit with the limits, went over it, has been nearly 4 days now and no reply, not sure how long to wait to ring them.

I got over £1.2k in there and buyers are wanting me to send the items, but had to say no till paypal is sorted.

I prefer to hit the limit / go over it, then submit the docs for a speedy turn around time :)

Ideally, I'd wait for for the limit to be lifted before you start relisting or having any sales for that matter.
