Accidentally used card attached to PP on new EB account...dilemma

Accidentally (one time) used card attached to PP on new EB account...dilemma

Name, Address, phone #, email is different on each PP & EB a/c
EB a/c previously used 4 times, payment via a card (not attached anywhere).
Then on 5ft time, used a card previously attached to PP a/c

Don't want to risk a limitation on PP as recently successfully removed limitation (> Euro 2500).
Have a few £1000 in it...yes I know I should withdraw funds...

Should I:

1/ formally link that EB a/c to PP by using PP as payment on the next EB purchase?

(after editing name, address, phone ', email to match PP a/c)
(obviously PP & EB already have a link in their system)

OR

2/ set up a new EB a/c using same details as PP a/c?

Remove the card you used on eBay, then link PayPal account is what I would do

You should be fine since you didn't use the same card on multiple eBay accounts.

Re: Accidentally used card attached to PP on new EB account...dilemma

So remove the card (common to both PP & EB) from PP..
What's the purpose of removing card?

Why link EB to PP again?
(would think PP/EB already know about it given I used the card on EB for a one-off purchase)

Should I change details on EB a/c to match the PP a/c first before linking?
Does it matter if do before or after linking?
