New paypal with old bank account ???
 

Hi, I used to have my ebay account here at my house but few months later they suspended it indefinitely. I now have an ebay account from a friend who never used my ip address at my place and setting my new paypal account by myself (he doesn't feel secure sharing his). Creating my new business paypal account and listing my first listing in a new tablet device via SIM mobile prepaid data, I encountered a problem. After I pressed the list with displayed fees button I proceeded to login with my paypal account and then boom! I have to add a new card. I came up with this idea:

Reach up my bank's office and declare my debit card has been lost and asked to receive a new one. By the time I will receive the card, I will add it to my stealth new Paypal. The reason, I believe they won't notice my old bank account.

Is this idea safe or any alternatives to start selling again? :help:

Destined for disaster. They will definitely notice the bank account if its been used on another PP account before. You will need to link a bank account to withdraw money. The PP account is virtually useless without a bank linked to it.

You have a new debit card but if you still have same bank account number and sort code it will definitely get you limited sooner or later.

From what I've heard they keep all account details for years especially bank and credit card numbers so they cannot be used again.

If its just the card your adding then that is fine so long as the PayPal address matches the card address

You wont be able to reuse the bank account itself though

It sounds like the OP had a limited eBay but his old Paypal sounds fine.

If he closed his old PayPal account and used his bank acccount details on the new one will he still -eventually- be banned on his PayPal?

My major concern with the OP is that he appears to be using a friends details for eBay. If his friend is a seller then that may cause him and his friend to be thrown off ebay and Paypal..

He (or anyone for that matter) should NOT reuse old info - plus PP will likely not allow reuse of the bank account
