Selling limit
 

Hi, Need to know if there is any selling limit in particular categories? for example if buy a 100 selling limit ebay account, am I able to sell most of those items In the same category, with the new ebay stealth account?

Some categories have category limits some don't so it will really depend in which category you want to sell as to if you can list 100 items right from the start

Are those limitations removed for older accounts? e.g 1 year old account?

They only get removed if there is sales history on the account and even then some category limits are not removed

Dpends on the category, usually it tends to be 90 days from first sale.

@ouzi, if you clearly state what category you are trying to be in, you may get more responses.

I had recently had this question and called eBay. I told the guy how much I wanted to sell and he explained that once I got going on eBay my limit would increase, usually automatically.

On the spot he was able to increase my limit and I was satisfied for the time being.

Got 360/7200 after 60-70 days after first sale automatically.

Just use the chat option, and you can increase it with them every month :)

Ebay's Health and Beauty category has strict limits due to lots of fools selling toxic chinese makeup products, one has to upgrade to a business account to remove the limits I have found.
