Royal Mail second class recorded delivery lost
 
I sent a package using RM second class recorded delivery but buyer didn't received the parcel. When buyer complains i checked RM tracking system and it says lost parcel, Customer sent me a message saying she is not happy. I resent another as i don't want any negative feedback, but i want to know is seller responsible for the loss? please explain.Thanks

Why would the customer be responsible for a lost package? Think of that for a minute. Refund them and go after Royal Mail, they the ones who messed up.

Seller hasn't done anything wrong, just follow up with Royal Mail / apologize for the lost parcel that was out of your control.

Dont even waste time with royal mail, procedure is a joke to claim anything from them..

They made it like that to deter non genuine claims. Imagine how much more claims they will be getting daily if its too easy. Never claimed before though but I bet they will respond to tracked items much quicker

If you ignore it nothing will be done to eliminate issues long term.

If everyone put in claims for lost items, items getting to destination late they might wake up and do something about it
