linking stealth email account to personal phone/computer
 

Hi everyone,
first of all i would just like to say thank you to you all here, i created my stealth account over 4 months now and its still going strong (touch wood) and it was for the most part down to you guys!

just wondering with the gmail account i created, would it be safe to link it to my phone so i can get updates on purchases, if i was using my home wi-fi
hope that makes sense.

Perfectly okay to install the gmail app on your phone and to answer messages from it.

Totally fine to do

I link in all my eBay email accounts to my iPhone and reply to all the messages I get on it

Can u do reply to the return requests or Ebay cases via phone as well. And as Doyle is saying he connects with home wifi. Is it secure

I believe its a dangerous thing to do for a beginner, I would advise you learn and master the ethos of stealth on your computer before linking it to your mobile.

It would be nice if I could link 2 or 3 stealths on a single phone, then maybe I will be motivated to buy a smartphone and no more this calculator. But I believe it is very risky for a stealther to be way ahead of ebay on mobile. There is no better way to get your account toss. Come to think of it, there is always a debate about issues and the dos and don't. If you live in glass house, please don't throw stone unless of course you are surrounded by a bullet proof glass.

If you will, I will advice to start with fresh accounts you wouldn't mind to loose.

For me, I have a 12 inch laptop I carry about in my shoulder bag whenever I am traveling or away from home for more than a day and with my dedicated IP -thanks to 24VC.com (love u guys) , besides that, I am on my laptop 18 to 20hrs daily and see no use for a smartphone in my life for now.

Hey! and even this Chinese sellers always asking for WhatsApp. I really don't know whats that.

Just buy a new simcard from amazon and use that for your account to be safe

Two predominant things you cant do without physically logging into the account are: Responding to best offers and responding to cases.

Hence why I tend not to enable best offers and as for cases, if your offering a great service you wont have much of them anyway.

That means I only end up having to login to my ebay accounts once a week, or sometimes once a fornight.

Read around the forums and you'll come to find the many time savings solutions to running multiple stealth accounts simultaneously. :)
