Both ebay and pp offer 180 days moneyback policy, so you are protected.

Your payment is safe.
I have one phone with iCloud's password on it. If you don't mind, can you give me link please. I guess this service can take time. As unlocking the phone some time takes 7 working days.

Just get a refund and buy from someone else who can do it quickly.

What exactly is an "icoud removal service"? Everything you've described in your post sounds like one big scam.

An iPhone that has been Activation Locked can only be unlocked with the iCloud credentials of its owner.

Some people use software and other tools to supposedly remove the icloud lock.

Re: i have bought an icloud removal service

Unlocking is to remove the carrier based lock on the phone to use it with any carrier of your choice - I've purchased these services from ebay before and they work an absolute treat.

I used to unlocked my own phones with software back in the days, but their a little more complicated now. Hence the added cost that comes with it.

Removing iCloud accounts is one I looked into recently, I can only assume the person offering the service works for Apple, or knows someone that does, as there isn't a software or tool that would remove it remotely (last I checked).

Sorry for wandering off topic, but I didn't know ebay uk gives 180 day money back protection? I know paypal uk do.

This is interesting -
So if an iPad has an activation lock on it - the only person that can remove this activation lock is the original owner, correct?

my ex-GF works in a company that Apple outsources customer support to. I have heard how they deal with device locks, lost passwords, lost devices etc. 100% sure any "icloud removal service" is BS. Even higher-tier customer support staff have no rights to remove any locks or limitations from your device without inputting your security details first.

Leave it for 40days then send a message to the seller on ebay or just open a case and they will be pushed to respond else you will have like 5 days or so till you are able to choose Ebay to step up and they will get your money back at the end :) this is only if you get scammed

Correct. From what I recall the procedure is simple. Turn up at an Apple store with proof of purchase, they cross check serial numbers with receipt etc. and the validate the receipt. If all adds up, they remove the icloud accounts for you.

This prevents any random individual from simply abusing their system using stolen devices.

you can retrieve data by yourself. There are programs to do that. For example Ipad Manager Free Iphone Manager
I used it few times.
But there is a sad news. I'm not sure but most of these programs work with NTFS and FAT32 files systems. I recently tried to find something that would work with ext4 but I was unsuccessful. So, because OS X is using HFS+ file system there could be problem with software. But I can't believe that they don't exist.*
To sum up try to google "recovering HFS+ partition" or find program for recovering data that can work with HFS+ file system.
Good luck!

I have managed to find a icloud email and password on a iPhone 5 using elcomsoft forensic software but it's hit or miss and you need to do an ecrypted backup in iTunes and hack the backup file

Re: i have bought an icloud removal service

Some people have a gsx Apple server account and get the original buyers name and email and then send a SMS to the owner with a URL to a lookalike icloud website to trick them to use the password and steal it off them

Some techs open up the iPhones and desolder a chip and change it to remove the icloud
