two new accounts running well .So i started to try and bring the 3rd one into action .Its 2 months old but Zero feedback Went to do mock sale and i was limited to 0.0 .All paypal good all cards phone ady all good
Im just wandering is it because i didnt build up feedback by buying

is your paypal account verified?

yep i think so iv got 2,300 limit on paypal

That is the EU receiving limit

The bank account you added to the PayPal, did you verify it?

if you verify your paypal with a bank account (by entering the 4 digit code which appears on your bank statement)

You can then click 'request higher selling limits' on your ebay selling account section and the limits will raise.

I just checked it again and its £2,134 limit on paypal ...to be honest i cant remember Im sure i did the same as the other two accounts which are ok

I just had a look on paypal where it says lift your limits it asks for stuff ....on the add bank and card details its got a green tick so i must have added them

The EU limit doesn't have anything to do with the account being verified.

Either you added a bank account and verified it or you didn't.

Can you not remember if you added a bank account or not?

Did you click ADD BANK ACCOUNT then click CONFIRM and a code gets sent to your bank and then you enter it in on paypal and that means its VERIFIED.

if not then, thats usually why you get 0/0 limits.

It looks like its not accepting my VCC which was one called Swirl logged on to my pyapl my Swirl card is in there But when it says veryfi it says we dont accept this card

is there at least £2 on the card? or it wont accept it.

The registered card details need to match the stealth deatils to.

I used it to buy stuff to build up some history on ebay today ...i put 20 pounds in today spent some on ebay today ,...now its got £1.70 left on it

You still need to make sure that you add and confirm a bank account

A VCC by itself will not be enough a lot of the time

TSB is a really bad choice to use...

Can you actually see the bank account added on the PayPal? Its PayPal you want to check, not TSB

well then go to ebay and click 'request higher selling limits' and then it will log you into paypal and you will get some selling limits.

I got my limits back to 10/650 cheers for your help

As iv said i use TSB bank can you for see any problems with TSB in the future

as it was one of the recommended banks on this site by someone

I don't think I have ever seen a post recomending TSB

They (and lloyds) do not like mismatching names

I've had a Lloyds TSB (before the split) current account closed because of mismatched names. Since then I've never used Lloyds or TSB again.

I have been using a TSB current account on a stealth since the split without any problems. That stealth currently has listing limits of 750/£14000 on it.

Everybody will have different experiences with all the banks. There is always a risk with any bank if the bank wants there to be.

Cool to hear. Sometimes you can get away with it but I have seen a couple of people report issues since the split up so personally I would still not risk it when there are so many other banks about

Perhaps TSB is a little more lenient than Lloyds. Also bear in mine LLoyds TSB (pre split) Business accounts allowed mismatched names.

But all in all, there are a tonne of banks to choose from. So simply choose one other than Lloyds, TSB, and Halifax. http://www.aspkin.com/forums/uk-ebay...-accounts.html

hahha mate that little link you put up there has "TSB cash account" on it Thats the one i chose two months ago

Is there any issue changing banks on the same account ??or shall i keep it going and see how it pans out ?? ......,,i haven't started selling on it yet im just buying at the moment

You can add a new bank account to this PayPal, yes.

But if its a new account, I would just leave it on the side and start a fresh one. You could put small sales through this one and withdraw over time and see what happens. But don't treat it as your primary account. Not yet atleast.

Oh **** i have to go thru that again ,I find it very hard to make these accounts ,,plus iv spent about 20pounds on buying small items so i dont look like iv had an account before ,,,Its about 2 months old i was just going to start selling on it and build it up slowly ...but its not my primary account iv got two others :( :(

I have been using TSB on my own selling accounts, fine to, but like LOMBOK says, everyone can have a different experience.

I would assume you would be fine using any bank as long as you didnt give the ''fraud'' department a reason to 'look' at your account.
So dont withdraw to much to often and dont open and close bank accounts to often and it should be fine.

It costs banks money to open and close accounts, so when you abuse this, this is when the 'fraud' department close accounts.

Halifax & LLoyds are hot with this (above) and now i hear RBS has started this to..

Iv managed to deposit money from my paypal to TSB with out any issues

will i have any issues in the future ?? A few people say they have not had an issues with TSB recently

It was never depositing that was the issue

The issue was that after a few months (back when the bank was Lloyds TSB) the bank would ask why loads of deposits where coming in under another name and then sometimes shut the bank account down
