Adding Bank Card and VCC

Hi guys,

I am new to stealth. This is a great forum!

I am in the UK.

I have been able to open seevral savings accounts with my RBS account so I can use those with stealth accounts.

I understand everything else about stealth but not the verified/confirmed status.

Can I just use my new RBS accounts without needing a VCC?

I do have an Entropay account from a while ago though.

Do I need to add my sort code and account number from my RBS account to get the 4 digit code and then in the 'add a card' section I add my VCC details?

Is the two smal deposit thing still happening with PayPal these days?

Thanks for all the help in these forums :)

You don't 'need' a vcc. I certainly wouldn't use entropay. They are causing issues for some.

When you add your bank account they send an instant deposit with a 4 digit code. Login to your online banking and find the code, then add it to paypal.

This verifies your account.

Entropay is such a bad idea - any VCC that has ever been abused or is widely known will cause you issues (usually a CC statement limitation)

Bank = VERIFY
VCC = CONFIRM

Thank you so much for the reply guys.

So I should be fine with just adding my savings account sort code and account number and then submitting the 4 digit code?

For other stealth accounts will I be fine just using the sort code and acc no from other savings I open?

I take it that I can just not bother putting in the card details in ther section on PayPal?

I actually opened a stealth account ast week with a whole new bank account. I got a new card with it also. I submitted the four digit code and also made a sale on the eBay acc a few days ago and have not got any issues so far. I'm just wanting to be safe before opening more accounts.

Make sure you also follow the rest of stealth steps as well.

How times seem to change....are we now saying there is no real requirement or value to add any kind of VCC to a stealth paypal? As that is the vibe the thread is giving.

The op asked if you "need" a vcc. The answer is no. You have ways been able to run an account without one.

There are benefits to adding a cc which is why most people choose to do it.
