| | | aalexander | 01-16-2017 07:57 PM | Proof of Postage to lift Paypal limitation on low value items My Paypal has been limited today, for a recent change in activity.
They are asking for photo ID, proof of address, invoices and proof of postage.
I can provide everything they are asking for apart from the proof of postage. The items I sell are relatively low value (about £5-6) so I just send them using regular first class with no tracking.
I do have about 60 positive feedbacks relating to these sales, would it be enough to just show a screenshot of my feedback on ebay? Or what other options do I have? |
Re: Proof of Postage to lift Paypal limitation on low value items You can just tell them that you ship first class and that there is no tracking. I've resolved many issues like this and as long as they are cheaper products, they usually never have a problem with it :yar: |
| Ebayorbust | 01-17-2017 03:17 AM | Re: Proof of Postage to lift Paypal limitation on low value items I have uploaded screenshots of feedback to show proof of delivery for items sent without tracking. They were accepted without any problems. |

Because on the limitation page it only allows me to respond by uploading a document. |

| rookprop | 01-17-2017 05:25 PM | Re: Proof of Postage to lift Paypal limitation on low value items They are human. Youre email was automated. It doesnt know the difference between first class stamp and priority tracking.
Call and make sure you dont use a cell number with anyone elses account linked.
If the human is an idiot and wont remove the limit, just buy first class labels in ebay and mail them off. Will cost you about 12 dollars for 5 items. Should show delivered in a week. |

Was your limit removed after you provided them with all the info? |

| glacier922 | 01-19-2017 01:34 AM | Re: Proof of Postage to lift Paypal limitation on low value items I just got one of these today, sold 9 items, about 60 bucks each in about 2 days, sent me a limitation email. Got to provide what they need. |
| chokolat1 | 01-20-2017 11:02 AM | Re: Proof of Postage to lift Paypal limitation on low value items Any luck with removing the limitation? I am still waiting, everything was sent to them yesterday morning, but still no response. I had to message them via message centre, as where they ask for proof of dispatch, upon clicking continue, the system tells me that there are no orders! |

| aalexander | 01-23-2017 11:47 AM | Re: Proof of Postage to lift Paypal limitation on low value items OK just a quick update. I submitted everything Paypal asked for and my limitation was removed today successfully...
No need to call in, simply sent in screenshot of my feedback on eBay as proof of postage and it was accepted. ;) |

For example if you've been selling £5 items for months, and suddenly start selling £200 items - this is a change in activity and Paypal are likely to limit your account. |

Take it slow and build the sales up gradually, this way you'll have more trust in Paypal's eyes and they will be less likely to limit you. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 04:45 PM. | |
