Minimum feedback to list high risk items
 

Hi am new to stealth and was looking to sell some high risk items on a new account. Account was opened Nov/Dec 2016 and has got 11 feedback would it be OK to list anything high risk yet? As selling low risk items is extremely annoying since I take ages to sell and receive feedback.

I was considering listing an auction instead of BIN and maybe listing it as used

There's no simple answer, every account is different....also it depends on your selling history and so forth. The only way to find out if it will is to actually try it and see what happens.

^Agreed.

I don't recommend lying about the condition of your item in hopes of making your listing stronger. Doing so is dishonest and won't do much to help your listing. If you're selling a new item you should list it as "new."

Whatever you're considering listing I would just go ahead and list it. I would also have some backup accounts running in case something goes wrong though.

I've got 5 accounts but I've paid for these and rather make full use of them. I've already attached my bank accounts on all the PayPal so don't want to lose any with it being a headache of opening more banks.

I was thinking used would be subject to less checks then if I listed as new.

If you jump from low risk to high risk, you are playing a dangerous game. Best to edge up the pricing SLOWLY to let paypal 'adapt' to your selling trend.

Is a jump from £2 to £45 too much I don't mind selling a few at a lower rate by auction

It is quite a big jump, but it also depends on the quantity you've sold too.
I would say sell 3-4 of these £45 items maximum, wait maybe a week or so until you get some feedback from these. Then another 2-3 you could sell every week. Gradually building sales like this should be fine.

I've got currently 10 feedback you think I should list one see how it goes. Don't want to get account suspended due to the cost involved in setting them up. Really appreciate the help from all of you guys thanks!!

The trick to selling higher value items is edging towards them slowly.

So if you've been selling for £2 now, you want to perhaps sell an item for £20, but just one, and wait to receive positive feedback. Then slowly sell a few £20 items, and basically edge towards your goal of £45.

With higher value items and premature accounts - Its all about sell. Wait for feedback. Sell. Wait for feedback. After a month or two, you can consistently sell at £45. Its all about showing ebay you are delivering and your clients are happy.

Dont try to manipulate feedback - those are easy to see through.

What items are you selling? I had LEGOs as HIGH RISK ITEMS. Ive heard friends told that household and jeans were high risk. basically, if they dont like you, youre selling HIGH RISK.

Try saying the item is NEW OPEN BOX. Explain in the description that the box is just dusty or worn from storage but Brand new. It might help the BOTS stay away.

Listing USED definitely helps but of course affects the selling amount. You can list USED but maybe describe the item as NEW OPEN BOX or BRAND NEW but MISSING MANUAL.
