Three 4G IP dynamic?
 

Going to probably sound obvious but want to double check, is Three (3) 4G also dynamic do they use same ip range?
Im moving house and saw its 4g Super enabled in the area never been close to 4G before and three has always given such a wide dynamic range wanted to know if they use same range may sound stupid but wanted to confirm as not that technical with towers ips range etc.

They will use the same IP range as other Three 4G devices in the area. They are a dynamic IP though, but the range isn't huge which means IP repeats do happen fairly often.

3G range (at least in the US and I would assume abroad) is MUCH larger and better for stealth in that regard, although a bit slower than 4G (obviusly).

02 offer 4G which has a pretty large ip pool with hardly any repeats.

As far as I have ever been aware (I could be wrong here though) but 4G and 3G do not share the same IP range. That that with a pinch of salt though as I could be mistaken

Ive now checked it as back in uk and its dosent change as much but the last 6 digits changed everytime so a big pool still.Then it moved to 3g they all changed.

For the purpose of browsing ebay and paypal etc. 3G will suffice. It isn't actually much slower than 4G. You also get the benefit of a larger IP pool.

It goes without saying, even with a larger IP pool you need to keep track of your IP. Even on 3G you still come across same IPs, though not as often.
