My account, and one of my relative's has been restricted! What can I do?
 

My account has been suspended today. The sad thing is that they also suspended one of my relative's account. I don't care about mine, but I want the one of my relative unrestricted. This person selling activity has nothing to do with mine, and has also never broken any rule. I called them on the phone, but it's been useless. What can I say? Any tip?

Your relative is the best person to phone them

eBay can be really really harsh with this sort of stuff though and will sometimes just refuse to see reason and unblock people unfairly effected

Yes they told me that. But my relative is in a different country and doesn't speak english. I am the only person that can speak for him. So they suggested me to make him call eBay of his country, and tell them to authorise me to speak on his behalf. The restriction on his account has been made from eBay uk, that's why eBay of his country is helpless.

i presume you had both accounts and got linked and u will need to start again with a stealth i no its boring but i have restarted 6 times and remember dont sell vero and the buyer is always right and bend over for them as its the only way to run on ebay im afraid

Not at all. I had only my account and the other account was on the name of my relative and used totally by my relative. Nothing to do with me.

What do you mean restarted 6 times? That in the end your stealth accounts were always matched with the original?

No I only run stealth accounts and one got linked to an old email and one was linked to a bank account I used twice by mistake and one was selling vero and one was linked but I don't no how I presumed a stealth seller throw a load of us under the bus but that's a guess really as a few people lost accounts on the same week
I would start a new stealth if I was you
