Do I need settings when I dont have adobe flash player?
 

I was just wondering if I still need to worry about flash cookie when I dont have adobe flash player on my desktop.

Trying to configure a new desktop, I reached a stage and it prompted me to download flash player prior to configuring the settings. Hey! This is a user account only dedicated to ebay so would it still matter to configure the flash settings if I can avoid downloading the flash player?

suppose you do not need to worry about it.
You can have a browser add-on that gives you the option or be asked to activate each time, but otherwise it is blocked.
but if you are on a seperate user for each account, you need not worry either way....

one thing I noticed about having flash on, is that it makes your browser more identifiable as it contains alot of info. So for browser fingerprinting, it makes some sense to have it turned off....
