PayPal UK Limited account
 

I was banned from eBay after nearly 10 years and not knowing they ban so harshly without explaining why or giving a second chance. A few weeks of googling, askpin.com posts (thanks guys) and perseverance later and I was back on eBay.

The problem now is with PayPal. The original PayPal account I have with the first eBay is in totally good 'condition' (from my view anyway) and I use it in nearly all my transactions, but to be safe, I created a new PayPal with a name that's not mine and have been accepting payments successfully through it. I received the limited account warning after I passed $1800 but now I've passed $2500 my account has been totally limited and I can't withdraw my money.

I want to find out if there's any problem with telling eBay that the name the account is in is of someone that works in my business and just giving them my genuine ID since you can have two PayPal accounts anyway (they state one for personal and one for business).

Are there any problems with this? Will the new eBay detect this identity change and link to my banned account? Will PayPal say wrong answer and keep my money?

You need to provide what they are asking for.

You can't tell them a lie or spin them a story, they have strict guidelines to legally adhere to.

I wouldnt tell paypal anything like that.. you will end up making it worse for yourself.

You are allowed 2 paypals, the problem is your first one is closed so they dont actually want to do business with you any more.

That's not the case at all. His first PayPal is fine (but eBay is suspended), the second one was only limited because of the EU receiving limit.

OP, the whole different name thing won't fly. You need to send the correct ID.
If you have used the original PayPal with the new eBay then it's likely just a matter of time before the new eBay and both PayPals will go down however...
