Logging in to Paypal from foreigh country using same PC - any problem?
 

- logging in from say USA as a one-off to make a purchase
- using same PC so same "footprint": O/S, browser agent etc

Any problem with PP limiting my account or issues?

The fact youll be using a different IP address in itself might be an issue - even if youre in the same country of origin as the account. The fact the IP address is outside that country makes it more complicated and increases the chance of a red flag being raised and an 'unauthorized activity' limitation being placed on the account.
I myself travel with another device (tablet, phone or another laptop) and leave my main work laptop at home and just control it using teamviewer. No need to worry about any mismatched information that way.

Doesn't always cause problems, having cookies is the most important. If you do log in from another country, a country close by will give you the least problems, but if for example you log in from Hong Kong or somewhere then it looks like an account hijacking attempt.

Most probably you will be fine as same pc is used so you have your cookies etc occasionally you could be ask for phone or email veryfication

My life is lived in England and Portugal never have any problems with PP or Ebay logging into accounts and operating UK accounts from Portugal

Will be a problem if you are connecting with a foreign IP address.. it shouldn't be a problem if you use a good trusted UK VPN IP.

I do the same when traveling to other countries.

Sorry to go against your undoubted greater knowledge.....but I have no problem using Ebay & Paypal from Portugal using a Portuguese IP address.
I use a vodaphone hotspot for 3 Ebay accounts so have to change IP all the time to switch between accounts and I do not have any problem.

To be honest, I remember a year or two ago I was travelling in Scandinavia and just to kill off some time I was listing my stuff as I was waiting for my flights and I used airport Wifi. Then I did some work when I was in Estonia and in Sweden, with local internet and then on the return flights I was using airport Wifi again...

Not saying its a right thing to do, but I did it and nothing bad happened.

I'm not sure why I'm writing this, because I would never do it again... Now I would use a VPN service, just to keep everything nice and tight and leave no openings for eBay or Paypal to harass me with their policies.

So yeah, don't do what I did- Just because nothing happened to me, doesn't mean that its good practice.
