By doing so, you'll be avoiding a lot of fees associated with funding entropay and/or BTC debit cards, especially with purchases going as high as £1500. | Hi Play
Yes I agree, if my circumstances were different I would do that.
However:
Unfortunately is was a completely innocent victim of the ebay data security breech back in May 2014, where I suffered Identity theft with someone began using my 14 year old unblemished account to list and sell their items that were of a seriously dodgy nature. (This activity was completely hidden to me and I was completely oblivious that this was happening behind my back)
As far as ebay was concerned it was my account, so I must be the guilty one (ebay could never be at fault!) I was tarred with the guilty brush and was terminated from ever using ebay again and if I tried to create a new account this would immediately be shutdown – I proved this by creating a new account and it was shutdown within days.
Ebay would never admit that it was their own data security breech that exposed my account to fraudulent activity and when asking them why my innocence was not being investigated, they just continually replied with “We are sorry but ebay’s decision is final in this matter” and would then hang up the phone on me.
3 weeks later the press news broke that ebay data security had been severely breeched and that peoples accounts had been hacked and used for fraudulent means.
From ebays perspective it is simply easier just to terminate you regardless of whether you are innocent or guilty, as doing any further investigation is extra work and cost for them. Ebay is a good example of a company within our capitalist society that has grown to have power far beyond the law and a complete disregard and contempt for common standards of morality or respectability.
Hence the reason why I now rely on you folks here.
Thanks
