Paypal direct debit question
 

I would like to know if the name on the bank account has to match the name on the paypal account in order for DD to work, also can I use uaccount for direct debit? would appreciate some response, thanks in advance

If you are using a stealth PayPal account, do NOT setup a Direct Debit to an account in a different name.

When you initiate a Direct Debit mandate, the bank (digitally and often through letter) receive the details on the PayPal account and vice versa. If they do not match, the PayPal Direct Debit mandate will be refused and could lead to either a limitation if the bank responds with a mismatch or the bank themselves will believe you're being frauded by someone with the stealth name.

As for UAccount, you'd need to check with them directly, but make sure that the name on the PayPal account matches the UAccount information.

For a DD to work you need the name on the PP to match the bank on the bank account

Sometimes if the name doesn't match it will still go through, but its not worth taking that risk

My account is limited to 500 per month, I want to increase the limit that's why I want to know if I can do the DD but currently the paypal account name is different from the name on uaccount, don't know if this would give problems, is there anyway around it?

Trying to understand OP - the limit of 500 per month is on pp side? Or bank? Or...? Banks don't usually have a deposit max.

If you're talking about pp, is the account verified with bank and confirmed with cc?

Its in PP side not bank side, I want to know if the pp has to have the same name as bank to verify through DD.

Your PayPal & bank account have to have the same name for a DD to work

What he is trying to do (according to many PMs) is raise his initial PP incoming limit from 500 to around the 1800 mark. He just needs to attach and confirm his Bank account. It hasn't been explained very clearly though hence the confusion.

Ahhh your right!

It wasn't very clear. Thanks Blobby! Your totally correct all he needs to do is add a bank account and verify it. No need to do anything with the DD mandate

regarding the additional uaccounts that can be gotten from the original uaccount, if I get 5 or more additional uaccounts, can I add them to different paypal accounts?
