Paypal UK - Unable to complete registration process
 

As per the title really.

Put a legit address and mob no, but keep getting the following message:

Please check your entries and try again.

Trying to get thru on the phone, but they're jam packed!

Is this a common issue?

I had it with one today. Wouldn't accept a brand new mobile number. I just switched the toggle from 'mobile' to 'home' and suddenly the mobile number was accepted. Just switched it back as 'mobile' after the initial registration was completed.

PayPal has two sign up forms (it randomly allocates you to one).

The older form has a glitch whereby if your phone number begins with +44 "73" then it doesn't recognise it as a mobile number - the new form has rectified this issue.

As blobby said, just mark that number as a "home" number, and change it after you've signed up.

Just an update

I think PP is having a seizure, as spoke to someone there and they reckon I should try in the morning, lol.

I tried omitting the 0 for the mobile, but no luck. Also tried selecting home no. but strangely enough it kept showing as mobile and wouldn't change to the new home one.

Tried other browsers, but to no avail.

Paypal is truly run by monkeys!

Ok, managed to get is sorted!

There's another sign up form (older one) which is more user friendly, and actually gives the correct error messages when you screw up. You can find it at:

Good to hear, glad you are sorted.

It seems almost criminal a company with hundreds of millions of customers should have such constantly failing and glitchy software all the time. Everything about ebay and paypal just reeks amateurish.
