Paypal withdrawal: Adding Santander Basic Bank account does not work?
 

Just tried adding Santander Basic bank account (with matching name).
Never attached to any other PP a/c
This was for the allowed full withdrawal of funds (got email confirmation) after a/c was limited for over 180 days

Got message:

"We were unable to process your bank account registration at this time. We apologise for the inconvenience. Please try again at a later date."


Any known problems on PP with Santander Basic Bank account?

Sounds like a security issue. It may do this with any bank you try to add.

I've got three Paypal accounts set up with Santander accounts - 1 current account, 1 basic bank account and one saver.

Got around 14 accounts attached to paypal. One of the best banks out there for stealth and never an issue.

Try adding bank via the paypal automated phone system which is what I used to add Santander several months ago. Pretty easy to do and worked fine.

I had some problems adding a Natwest card to a Paypal lately, wasn't the same error message though. Still can't add
