eBay MC999 Notice

I made an Ebay Account and listed one item on it. After few hours I received a message Notice MC999 Notice, listing has been removed and I do not have selling limit.

How can I get over it?

Please advise.

Thank you

The item you listed has very likely caused this issue.

What was it?

It was a random unbranded watch, It was just to create a listing. I listed the item to create a seller account. Nothing special.

Just increase your selling limit by clicking the button.

If that doesn't work, go through chat

This always works for me, just click request higher allowances then verify through paypal.

I called eBay, they said account limited was removed. Now they restore my account and gave me 100 item and £3500 allowance.

All set.

They should guide what to do in case of such a random suspension. One opens an account to sell some stuff and boom! Suspended. Suspicious. Guy has opened acc and want to sell some stuff. Now, he NEED TO KNOW what to do, who to contact with, etc. They just loosing potential customers. Where are good old days when no one wanted sh*t of you unless you pay your fees...

I'd stay away from watch, jewellery, clothing, electronics when you first start out. Even if their unbranded, attract attention.

Stick to items with less value, and less risk of being counterfeited, i.e. packaging items, jiffy bags etc.

When you've built some form of reputation, then sell the unbranded watches (slowly of course)
